Christmas came early for the residents at the Soweto Home for the Aged in Mofolo when Betway gave back to the community. Betway collaborated with Soweto All Stars FC and alongside some of the Betway 12^th Man graduates and Ambassador Lucas Radebe festive cheer was delivered to the elderly residents.

The team has identified a new beneficiary that will allow Betway to continue making a change through sport. Betway will be donating Rugby equipment and kit to the value of R85 000.00 to Mangaung Rugby Club.

Betway South Africa has chosen to use the game of rugby to uplift yet another local community. This time the brand travelled to Zwide Township in Port Elizabeth to deliver R85,000 worth of training and medical equipment to Kwaru Rugby Club.

Betway’s vested efforts in community sport development were demonstrated yet again on Thursday, 22 August in Pretoria.
The leading sport betting company aided the development of another community sport organisation in the form of Cullinan Women’s Football Club with the donation of training equipment to the value of R120,000. The donation forms a part of the various community development initiatives that the company has embarked on over the last two years.  

Betway has raised R80,000 for the South African Sport Association for the Physically Disabled (SASAPD) as part of the company’s Nelson Mandela Day celebrations.
 

In line with the FA Community Shield’s objective of contributing proceeds of the match to charity, Betway pledged to donate R1 from each bet placed on the fixture. The betting provider has announced that through this initiative, it has raised R25,000 which will be donated to Wheelchair Basketball South Africa (WBSA) in the form of playing equipment.
